<h1>New Ex-Officio Member Appointed to Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India by Central Government under IBC 2016.</h1> The Central Government has appointed an individual as an ex-officio member of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India, replacing another individual. This appointment is made under the authority granted by the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The newly appointed member holds the position of Joint Secretary and Legal Adviser in the Ministry of Law and Justice, Department of Legal Affairs. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs on February 26, 2019.
