of <h1>SEBI Renews Pune Stock Exchange Recognition for One Year; Compliance with August 2003 Inspection Required.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has renewed the recognition of Pune Stock Exchange Limited for one year, from September 2, 2003, to September 1, 2004, under the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956. This decision was made in the interest of trade and public welfare. The renewal is subject to the condition that the Exchange complies with the observations from SEBI's inspection conducted in August 2003, as communicated in a letter dated August 28, 2003.
