<h1>SEBI Approves Corporatisation and Demutualisation of Six Stock Exchanges u/s 4B of Securities Contracts Act.</h1> The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has approved and published the Scheme of corporatisation and demutualisation for certain Stock Exchanges under section 4B of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act, 1956. The Stock Exchanges, including Ahmedabad, Ludhiana, Jaipur, Bhubaneswar, Inter-connected Stock Exchange of India, and Vadodara, have complied with the necessary requirements and completed the process by the specified confirmation dates in September 2007. SEBI has officially designated these dates as the appointed dates for the completion of corporatisation and demutualisation for these exchanges.
