of <h1>Effluent Treatment Plant Project Extended and Funding Increased Under Section 35AC of Income-tax Act 1961</h1> The Central Government has specified the setting up of a common Effluent Treatment Plant at P-24, MIDC, Industrial Area, Taloja, by Taloja CETP Co-operative Society Limited in Raigad, Maharashtra, as an eligible project under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Initially approved for two years starting from the assessment year 1997-98, the project is extended for an additional year, up to the assessment year 1999-2000. The approved cost for the project has been increased from 136 lakhs to 175 lakhs, following recommendations from the National Committee.
