This action is taken under the authority of sub-section (1) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, in conjunction with rule 18 of the Customs Tariff Rules, 1995, concerning anti-dumping duties. The rescinded notification was originally published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, on October 24, 1997, by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue.
