of <h1>Retired Home Affairs Secretary Appointed to Securities Appellate Tribunal for Five-Year Term in Mumbai.</h1> The Central Government has appointed a retired Secretary from the Ministry of Home Affairs as a Member of the Securities Appellate Tribunal in Mumbai. This appointment, effective from November 4, 2003, is for a term of five years or until the appointee reaches the age of sixty-two, whichever comes first. This decision was made under the authority granted by the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance's Department of Economic Affairs, Capital Market Division, on October 30, 2003.
