of <h1>Retired Indian Audit and Accounts Service member appointed to Securities Appellate Tribunal for five-year term under SEBI Act 1992.</h1> The Central Government has appointed a retired individual from the Indian Audit and Accounts Service as a Member of the Securities Appellate Tribunal in Mumbai. This appointment, effective from June 10, 2009, is for a term of five years or until the appointee reaches the age of 62, or until further orders, whichever comes first. This decision was made under the authority of the Securities and Exchange Board of India Act, 1992, and is documented in the notification dated June 12, 2009, issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Economic Affairs.
