This decision follows findings that CSM exports from Thailand circumvented existing anti-dumping measures on Glass Fibre from China, undermining these measures by exporting CSM at dumped prices. The duty, set at 47.15% of the CIF value, targets products produced and exported by a specific Thai company. This measure, effective until August 31, 2021, is aimed at protecting domestic industries from unfair pricing practices. The duty is payable in Indian currency, with applicable exchange rates determined by the Customs Act.
