<h1>Goa Implements E-Way Bill Mandate for Intra-State Goods Movement; Exemptions for 22 Goods Over Rs. 50,000 Consignment Value.</h1> Effective June 1, 2018, the Government of Goa mandates E-Way Bills for intra-state movement of goods under the Goa Goods and Service Tax Rules, 2017. Previously exempted until May 31, 2018, the requirement now applies except for 22 specified goods with consignment values over 50,000 rupees, including iron, steel, tobacco products, and electronic goods. For exempted goods, transporters must carry relevant documents such as tax invoices or delivery challans. The rules and procedures in Rules 138 to 138D of the Goa GST Rules will apply to these specified goods for intra-state movement.
