of <h1>Mizoram Amends GST Notification: Includes Govt Renting Services and Defines 'Insurance Agent' Effective February 2018.</h1> The Government of Mizoram has issued an amendment to Notification No.13/2017-State Tax (Rate) under the Mizoram Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from February 1, 2018, introduces a new entry, 5A, which specifies that services provided by the Central Government, State Government, Union territory, or local authority through renting immovable property to individuals registered under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, are included. Additionally, a new clause defines 'insurance agent' as per the Insurance Act, 1938. This notification is authorized by the Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Mizoram, Taxation Department.
