of <h1>Himachal Pradesh exempts most intra-state goods from e-way bills; exceptions include 17 goods above Rs. 50K value under GST Rules 2017.</h1> The Himachal Pradesh government has issued a notification stating that, effective May 5, 2018, an e-way bill is not required for the intra-state movement of goods within Himachal Pradesh, except for 17 specified goods if their consignment value exceeds fifty thousand rupees. These goods include items such as soft drinks, iron and steel, edible oils, marble, timber, sugar, tobacco products, furniture, tiles, bricks, electrical items, drugs, sanitary goods, and garments. Required documents like invoices must be carried for exempted consignments. The notification adheres to the provisions of the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017.
