of <h1>Central Government Rescinds Customs Notification No. 19/2000 Under Section 25 of Customs Act, 1962</h1> Notification No. 62/2000-Customs, dated 12th May 2000, issued by the Central Government, rescinds Notification No. 19/2000-Customs, dated 1st March 2000. Exercising powers under section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962, and section 90 of the Finance Act, 2000, the government determined it necessary in the public interest to withdraw the earlier notification. This decision was officially published in the Government of India's Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, and documented in the Official Gazette.
