of <h1>Puducherry Government Amends GST Rates as per GST Council Decisions u/s 9(1) of the GST Act 2017.</h1> The Government of Puducherry, through the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, has issued Notification G.O. Ms. No. 41/2017-Puducherry GST (Rate) dated 14th November 2017. This notification amends the earlier Notification No. 1/2017-State tax(rate) dated 28th June 2017, to implement the decisions of the GST Council regarding GST rates. The amendments are made under the authority granted by section 9(1) of the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry has enacted these changes following the Council's recommendations.
