of <h1>Puducherry Amends GST Notification No. 4/2017: New Entry for Used Vehicles, Confiscated Goods, and Scrap, Retroactive to 2017.</h1> The Government of Puducherry has issued an amendment to Notification No. 4/2017-State tax (Rate) under the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, authorized by the Lieutenant-Governor on the Council's recommendation, adds a new entry after serial number 5. The new entry, numbered 6, pertains to used vehicles, seized and confiscated goods, old and used goods, waste, and scrap. It applies to any registered person under the Central, State Government, Union territory, or local authority. This amendment is retroactively effective from October 13, 2017.
