of <h1>Puducherry Amends GST Notification: RBI Overseeing Committee Services Now Under Reverse Charge Mechanism.</h1> The Government of Puducherry has issued an amendment to notification No. 13/2017-CT(R) concerning the Goods and Services Tax (GST) under the Puducherry GST Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from October 13, 2017, adds a new entry to the existing notification, specifying that services provided by members of the Overseeing Committee to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) will be subject to reverse charge mechanism (RCM). This change was made on the recommendation of the GST Council and is formalized by the order of the Lieutenant-Governor of Puducherry.
