of <h1>Jammu and Kashmir Updates GST List to Include Handmade Shawls, Stoles, Scarves, and Other Textile Products.</h1> The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has amended Notification No. SRO-GST-18 dated 15th September 2017, under the Jammu and Kashmir Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment updates the list of taxable items to include handmade shawls, stoles, and scarves alongside textile handloom products. Additionally, it introduces new entries for chain stitch, crewel, namda, gabba, wicker willow products, toran, and articles made of shola, applicable to any chapter. These changes are made following recommendations from the Council, as stated by the Principal Secretary to the Government, Finance Department.
