of <h1>India Designates Official GST Portals for Tax and E-Way Bill Management, Effective January 16, 2018.</h1> The Government of India has notified the websites www.gst.gov.in and www.ewaybillgst.gov.in as the official portals for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) system. The first portal facilitates registration, tax payment, return filing, and integrated tax settlement, while the second is for electronic way bill submission. This notification, effective from January 16, 2018, supersedes a previous notification from June 19, 2017. The GST Network manages the first website, and the National Informatics Centre manages the second.
