of <h1>Nagaland GST Notification: Non-Composition Taxpayers Must Pay State Tax at Supply Time per Section 148, Supersedes 2017 Notice.</h1> The Government of Nagaland, exercising its powers under section 148 of the Nagaland Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has issued a notification for registered persons who did not opt for the composition levy. These individuals are required to pay state tax on the outward supply of goods at the time of supply, as specified in section 12(2)(a) of the Act, including situations covered by section 14. They must also furnish details and returns as outlined in Chapter IX of the Act and adhere to the prescribed tax payment schedule. This notification supersedes the previous notification dated 26th October 2017.
