of <h1>Jharkhand Revises GST Act for Construction Services to Government Bodies; Effective September 21, 2017.</h1> The Government of Jharkhand has amended its notification S.O. 41 from June 29, 2017, under the Jharkhand Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendments, effective from September 21, 2017, revise the provisions related to services provided to various governmental bodies. Specifically, changes pertain to construction and related services for structures used predominantly for non-commercial purposes, including educational, clinical, cultural establishments, and residential complexes for self-use or employee use. Additionally, construction services not covered by previous categories are also addressed. The amendments were made in public interest based on the Council's recommendations.
