India Enforces Anti-Dumping Duty on Stainless Steel Imports from China, Korea, EU, USA & Others Until 2021.

The Government of India has imposed an anti-dumping duty on imports of Cold-rolled Flat products of stainless steel with a width greater than 1250 mm and a thickness up to 4mm from China, Korea, the EU, South Africa, Taiwan, Thailand, and the USA. This measure addresses significant increases in dumped imports and inadequate value addition in converting these products. Exclusions include specific grades and products under Indian Patent No. 223848. The duty, calculated as a percentage of the landed value, varies by country and producer, and will remain in force until January 31, 2021, unless amended earlier.
