of <h1>India Amends GST Rules: Overseeing Committee Services to RBI Now Under Reverse Charge Mechanism, per Section 9(3).</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has issued Notification No. 33/2017-Central Tax (Rate) to amend Notification No. 13/2017-CT(R). This amendment introduces a new entry in the notification table, specifying that services provided by members of the Overseeing Committee to the Reserve Bank of India will be subject to the reverse charge mechanism under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This change is made under the authority of sub-section (3) of section 9 of the Act.
