of <h1>Tripura Amends GST Notifications to Exempt FIFA U-17 World Cup Event Admissions from State Tax.</h1> The Government of Tripura has amended Notification No. 12/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated June 29, 2017, and Notification No. 21/2017-State Tax (Rate) dated August 22, 2017, under the Tripura State Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective from September 26, 2017, adds a new entry exempting services related to the right to admission for events organized under the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 from state tax. This amendment is made in the public interest following recommendations from the Council.
