of <h1>India Extends Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Steel and Fiberglass Tapes Until April 2009 Under Customs Tariff Act.</h1> The Government of India has amended Notification No. 147/2003-Customs to extend the anti-dumping duty on steel and fiberglass tapes and their components originating from China. This extension follows a review initiated by the designated authority, as per the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and related rules. Initially extended by six months in April 2008, the duty is now further extended until April 3, 2009, pending completion of ongoing review investigations. This measure aims to continue protecting domestic industries from unfair trade practices.
