of <h1>Bihar Government Amends GST Notification: FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 Event Admissions Now Tax-Exempt.</h1> The Bihar Government has issued Notification No. 25/2017 under the Bihar Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, amending Notification No. 12/2017. Effective from September 21, 2017, the amendment adds a new entry to the tax exemption list. Specifically, services related to the right to admission to events organized for the FIFA U-17 World Cup 2017 are now exempt from state tax. This decision was made in the public interest, following recommendations from the GST Council, and was authorized by the Governor of Bihar.
