of <h1>Himachal Pradesh Appoints Officers to Implement State GST Act, Effective June 28, 2017.</h1> The Governor of Himachal Pradesh, under the Himachal Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, has appointed various classes of officers to implement the State Act effective from June 28, 2017. The appointed positions include the Excise and Taxation Commissioner as the Commissioner of State Tax, Special Excise and Taxation Commissioners, Additional Excise and Taxation Commissioners, Joint Excise and Taxation Commissioners, Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioners, Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioners, Excise and Taxation Officers, Assistant Excise and Taxation Officers, and Excise and Taxation Inspectors. This appointment is formalized by the Principal Secretary of Excise and Taxation.
