This notification follows the fulfillment of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. An Approval Committee has been constituted, comprising government officials and representatives, to oversee the SEZ's development, operation, and maintenance. The SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot from June 19, 2017, under the Customs Act, 1962, facilitating trade and customs operations within the zone.
