of <h1>GST Compensation to States Act 2017 Provisions Effective from July 1, 2017, per Notification No. 1/2017.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 1/2017, declaring that all provisions of the Goods and Services Tax (Compensation to States) Act, 2017, will be effective from July 1, 2017. This decision was made under the authority granted by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Act.
