<h1>India Sets July 1, 2017, for Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act to Take Effect via Notification No. 25/2017-Customs.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, issued Notification No. 25/2017-Customs on June 28, 2017. This notification, under the authority of sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Taxation Laws (Amendment) Act, 2017, designates July 1, 2017, as the effective date for all provisions of the Act to come into force.
