<h1>India Requires Aadhaar for Atal Pension Yojana Benefits Nationwide, Excluding Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu & Kashmir.</h1> The Government of India mandates Aadhaar as a requirement for beneficiaries of the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) to simplify service delivery, enhance transparency, and efficiency. Eligible individuals must provide their Aadhaar number or undergo Aadhaar authentication to receive benefits. Those without Aadhaar must apply for enrollment by June 15, 2017. Interim benefits can be accessed with other identification documents until Aadhaar is obtained. The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority and intermediaries will facilitate Aadhaar enrollment and ensure beneficiaries are informed. This requirement applies nationwide, excluding Assam, Meghalaya, and Jammu and Kashmir, effective upon publication in the Official Gazette.
