Customs exemption for laboratory-authorised agencies: export and re-import of cut and polished diamonds allowed subject to specified conditions. The amendment extends the customs exemption for exportation and re importation of cut and polished diamonds to authorised offices or agencies in India of the laboratories mentioned in paragraph 4.74 of the Handbook of Procedures 2015-2020, when acting on behalf of exporters, subject to conditions (ii)-(v) and the requirements of the Foreign Trade Policy and Handbook of Procedures; it also substitutes the Explanation to define 'Foreign Trade Policy' as the Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020, as amended.
