of <h1>India Imposes Five-Year Anti-Dumping Duty on Chinese Steel Tubes and Pipes to Protect Domestic Industry.</h1> The Government of India has imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of seamless tubes, pipes, and hollow profiles of iron, alloy, or non-alloy steel, excluding cast iron and stainless steel, from China. This duty applies to products with an external diameter not exceeding 355.6 mm and aims to address material injury to the domestic industry caused by dumping. The duty will be in effect for five years from May 17, 2016, and will be calculated based on the difference between the landed value and a specified amount. The duty is payable in Indian currency and excludes certain specified products.
