of <h1>India Rescinds 2004 Customs Notification on Import-Export Daily List Rules u/s 156 of Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 140/2016-Customs (N.T.) on November 25, 2016. This notification rescinds the earlier Notification No. 128/2004-Customs (N.T.) dated November 19, 2004, which pertained to the publication of the Daily List of Imports and Exports Rules, 2004. The rescission is enacted under the authority of section 156 of the Customs Act, 1962, and is deemed necessary in the public interest. The rescission does not affect actions taken or omitted before this notification.
