Special Court designation for trial under PMLA of offences linked to an alleged former chief minister corruption case. The Central Government, under sub section (1) of section 43 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, designates the Court of Special Judge 1, CBI (ACB), Ranchi, as the Special Court to try offences punishable under section 4 of the Act in respect of all cases connected with offences alleged to have been committed by Shri Madhu Koda, former Chief Minister, and others; the notification was later superseded.
