of <h1>India Extends Minimum Import Price on Iron and Steel to December 4, 2016, Affecting 66 HS Codes.</h1> The Central Government of India has extended the Minimum Import Price (MIP) on 66 Harmonized System (HS) Codes related to iron and steel under Chapter 72 of the ITC (HS), 2012 Schedule-1 (Import Policy). This extension, authorized under the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992, prolongs the MIP's applicability beyond October 4, 2016, until December 4, 2016. This decision amends the import policy conditions as per Notification No. 20/2015-20 dated August 4, 2016. The notification was issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, part of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
