India Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on Cold-Rolled Steel Imports from China, Japan, Korea, and Ukraine for 8 Months.
The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of cold-rolled flat products of alloy or non-alloy steel from China, Japan, Korea RP, and Ukraine. This decision follows preliminary findings indicating that these products were being imported at prices below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty aims to mitigate this injury by imposing a charge equivalent to the difference between a specified amount and the landed value of the goods, provided the landed value is lower. This measure will be in effect for up to eight months.
