<h1>Delhi VAT Amendment Act 2016 to Take Effect on July 26, 2016, as per Section 1(3) Notification.</h1> The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, through the Finance Department, has announced that the Delhi Value Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 2016 (Delhi Act 03 of 2016) will become effective on July 26, 2016. This decision was made under the authority granted by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Act. The notification was issued by the Deputy Secretary-VI (Finance) on behalf of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi.
