This decision followed a review that confirmed continued dumping, price undercutting, and injury to the domestic industry. The duty, set at $1.22 per kilogram, applies to imports originating in or exported from China, with certain exceptions. The duty was initially set to remain until January 10, 2022, unless amended or revoked earlier. The exchange rate for duty calculation is determined by the Government of India notifications under the Customs Act, 1962.
