The revision specifies that individuals granted permission by the Ministry of Civil Aviation to operate scheduled or non-scheduled air transport services, and subsequently authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to import aircraft or helicopters, are exempt from requiring a Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) license for such imports. This change clarifies the exemption process for importing aircraft based on operational permissions.
