This declaration is made under the powers granted by a 1994 notification and in accordance with Section 9 of the Customs Act, 1962. The warehousing station is specifically for the purpose of supporting the EOU, as approved by the Development Commissioner of the Cochin Special Economic Zone, under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
