of <h1>Income Tax Act Section 35AC Amended: Deduction Limit for Helpage India Increased from Rs. 2000 Lakhs to Rs. 4000 Lakhs</h1> The notification amends the previous Notification Number S.O. 602(E) dated 12th August 1993, concerning Section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. Issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, it updates the maximum allowable deduction for Helpage India, located in New Delhi, from Rs. 2000.00 lakhs to Rs. 4000.00 lakhs. This amendment follows the recommendations of the National Committee and is formalized under Notification No. 327/2001, dated 18th October 2001.
