of <h1>India Amends Foreign Trade Policy: Status Holders' Free-of-Cost Exports Capped by New Annual Limit</h1> The Government of India has amended Paragraph 3.24 (j) of Chapter 3 of the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2015-2020. The amendment specifies that status holders are entitled to export freely exportable items on a free-of-cost basis for export promotion, subject to an annual limit of 10 lakh or 2% of the average annual export realization over the preceding three licensing years, whichever is lower. This change is effective immediately, limiting the entitlement of status holders under the FTP.
