<h1>India Lifts Minimum Export Price on Potatoes, Freeing Trade Under HS Code 07019000</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, has issued a notification removing the Minimum Export Price (MEP) on the export of potatoes. This amendment is made under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and modifies a previous notification from June 26, 2014. With this change, potatoes classified under the tariff item HS Code 07019000, whether fresh or chilled, are now allowed to be exported freely without any MEP restrictions. This decision is effective immediately as per the notification issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade.
