of <h1>India Imposes 5-Year Anti-Dumping Duty on Korean Acetone Imports to Protect Domestic Industry from Injury.</h1> The Government of India has imposed a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of acetone originating from or exported by Korea RP for five years. This decision follows a review by the designated authority, which concluded that continued dumping of acetone from Korea RP causes injury to the domestic industry and is likely to persist if the duty is revoked. The anti-dumping duty, set at 79.75 USD per metric ton, applies to acetone imported from Korea RP, regardless of the country of export or origin, and will be paid in Indian currency. The duty will remain effective until October 14, 2020, unless amended earlier.
