Anti-dumping duty imposed on PVC homopolymer imports from EU and Mexico to counter dumped imports and protect domestic industry.

Definitive anti-dumping duty is imposed on homopolymer of vinyl chloride monomer (suspension grade) imports from the European Union and Mexico for five years to counter dumped imports causing material injury. Specified per metric ton rates in US dollars apply to named producers and exporters and to other exporter/country combinations at higher residual rates. The product scope excludes certain specialty PVC suspension resins. Duty is payable in Indian currency using the Government-specified exchange rate with the relevant date as the bill of entry presentation.
