Initially approved for three years starting in the financial year 2009-10, the project is now extended for an additional three years, covering 2012-13 to 2014-15. The project maintains its approved cost of Rs. 21.95 crore, which includes a corpus fund of Rs. 4.00 crore. This extension follows a recommendation from the National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare.
