The project, managed by CRY (Child Relief and You) in New Delhi, has undergone several extensions since its initial approval in 1997. The estimated project cost has been increased over the years, reaching Rs. 188.39 crore. The National Committee for Promotion of Social and Economic Welfare has recommended this extension, confirming the project's proper execution.
