of <h1>Central Govt Extends Notification No. 58/2003-Central Excise Effective Date to May 1, 2004, Under Section 133 Finance Act 2002.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 58/2003-Central Excise (N.T.), dated July 22, 2003, by extending the effective date from April 1, 2004, to May 1, 2004. This amendment is issued under the authority granted by section 133 of the Finance Act, 2002. The original notification was published in the Gazette of India and had previously been amended by Notification No. 6/2004-Central Excise (N.T.) on February 28, 2004. Further amendments to this notification can be found in Notification No. 09/2004-Central Excise (N.T.), dated April 30, 2004.
