The allocation is split between Rs 1,042 crore for the raised pension and Rs 824 crore for arrears, completing arrears payments that were delayed during a prior fiscal crunch. Only 8.46 lakh beneficiaries receive a central contribution averaging Rs 300, with the state budgeting Rs 400 crore.
