The regulator warned of rising digital frauds and called for stronger measures to curb them. He highlighted a vibrant fintech ecosystem of roughly 10,000 entities and promoted the Unified Lending Interface as a tool to enable use of data for lenders to build alternative credit models, akin to what UPI achieved in payments.
