<h1>Tea exports rise marginally in Jan-Jun 2025 to 125.01m kg; north shipments up, south down; value and unit price gain</h1> A government trade authority reported that tea exports rose marginally to 125.01 million kg in January-June 2025 from 124.57 million kg a year earlier, with North-region shipments increasing to 79.42 million kg and South-region shipments falling to 45.59 million kg. Export value climbed to Rs 3,639.45 crore from Rs 3,129.31 crore and unit price realization increased to Rs 291.13 per kg from Rs 251.21. Full-year exports for 2024 were 256.17 million kg, up from 231.69 million kg in 2023. The data may inform trade, tariff and export-policy assessment.
